The present article is a result of one project of Scientific Initiation — PIBIC, in which among twelve months of research we proposed ourselves to investigate the world of luxury prostitution in the city of Belém. We had as objective to do a mapping of the luxury prostitutions in the city of Belém, to investigate the phenomenon of prostitution and its interfaces with affective relationships; to understand the negotiations of intimacy in the affective relationships between the sex professionals and their partners; and, to understand how this affective relationships manifests ifself in the worldwide computer network internet. It has investigated the boundaries established by these professionals to their clients, understanding that not everything is allowed in this job, that que money does not pay everything and that there are symbolic limits in the body of the sex professionals. The methodology adopted is bibliography and analyses of prostitutions websites on the capitular of this state. É exercida por mulheres, homens, heterossexuais, homossexuais, travestis e transexuais. Ressalta-se, ainda, que nem sempre o profissional é contratado para exercer atividades sexuais.

Abstract: The work of Poulain de la Barre presents the effort on the issue of gender equality. His rationalist philosophy, anchored in cartesianism developed in his speeches, proposes overcoming prejudice, regarding the place of women in society, by demonstrating that this is a truth guided by the force of opinion and custom. With the use of reason and the scrutiny of nature, knowledge would overcome inequality established in the name of humanity's progress. This text seeks to discuss about his thesis and analyze how the female condition was approached by the French philosopher.

Teles e Melo descreve que: [ Na China antiga, os preparativos para o parto incluíam a presença de uma caixa de cinzas ao lado da cama da parturiente, onde se sufocava o recém-nascido, caso fosse uma menina. Onde desempenhava tarefas pesadas, como portar os fardos durante as migrações, por serem os recursos para mantença de sua família. Houve um avanço na idade média e oferecido um extensão maior para as mulheres, tanto em nível educacional como no profissional. Assim, as mulheres acabaram assumindo os negócios da família e as corporações de ofício. O surgimento do Cristianismo a mulher associou-se de maneira mais restrita ao marido através do casamento e a monogamia concretizaram-se, de forma a constituiu-se como objeto do marido.
